Land School
A new Blackwood Program where curious minds of all ages can learn about Blackwood's regenerative agriculture and land stewardship philosophy.

Where All Ages Can Learn From The Land
At Land School, we will explore what it means to be stewards of the land and regenerative farmers and gardeners. Through hands-on activities and thought-provoking discussions, students of all ages will engage with the land and take home lessons they can apply to whatever ecosystem they live in.
This fall's semester offers seven classes, and each Saturday stands on its own. Allowing participants to join for single classes, or the full semester. Our group pricing option makes it easy to bring friends, and family along on this ecological journey.
Land School starts with the foundational materials of the working land:
- The livestock that keep a farm alive
- The compost that builds living soil
- The herbs and spices that become medicine
- The farm tools and machinery that are essential to caring for the land
- The food traditions that carry a harvest through the year.
Adults and kids will be split into their own groups for part of each class and come back together for the rest.
