Build lifesaving skills for remote settings in this immersive Wilderness Advanced First Aid course.
From March 7-10, 2026, Blackwood will be hosting Wilderness Advanced First Aid (WAFA) Training on the farm grounds in conjunction with Wilderness Medical Associates International.
This is an ideal course for amateur outdoor explorers as well as outdoor professionals. It will focus on basic lifesaving skills, assessing patients, and proper reporting to rescue personnel. The course will be hands-on and intensive, including lecture, discussion, drills, simulations, case studies, and skills labs.
